MB&F’s 20th Anniversary Celebrations Begin With Two Legacy Machine Limited Editions

2021 signifies the 20th anniversary of MB&F, not only does it celebrate this significant milestone but also kicks off a new year. To commemorate this occasion, the brand has unveiled exclusive timepieces: the Legacy Machine (LM) Perpetual Longhorn and the LM Sequential Flyback Longhorn. Both watches come in a 44mm stainless steel case, featuring an intricate internal mechanism and open-worked dials, which are complemented by straps made from beige calf leather.

The LM Perpetual Longhorn watch showcases MB&F’s acclaimed perpetual calendar movement, co-designed with watchmaker Stephen McDonnell. This 581-part movement overcomes the usual problems of traditional perpetual calendars by employing a mechanical processor that disables adjuster pushers during calendar adjustments. To celebrate this milestone, the anniversary edition showcases this groundbreaking movement in a modern design with longhorn-shaped lugs.

Additionally designed by McDonnell, the LM Sequential Flyback Longhorn is an evolution from the LM Sequential EVO series launched in 2022, which debuted the “Twinverter” binary switch that enabled separate timing functions, split-second, cumulative, and lap timer modes. The Flyback version introduces a new function for pilots, expanding its functionalities even further. Now, this special edition comes equipped with long horns, blued hands, and glossy black subdials to mark MB&F’s anniversary celebration.
