One year after, she launched her Bollywood career in 2001 with the film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein directed by Gautham Menon, where she starred alongside R Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan. Following this, she appeared in various films such as Deewanapan, Tumko Na Bhool Payenge, Dum, Parineeta, Lage Raho Munnabhai, and Sanju, among others.

In her private life, she tied the knot with Sahil Sangha in 2014, but they parted ways in 2019. Later, in February 2021, she married businessman Vaibhav Rekhi. Their son, Avyaan Azaad Rekhi, was born in the same year, July to be precise. Since he was born premature, he had to spend 2.5 months in the NICU. Moreover, Vaibhav has a daughter named Samaira Rekhi from his previous marriage.
