Riteish Deshmukh is the child of a politician who once served as Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Vilasrao Deshmukh. After earning an architecture degree from Kamla Raheja College of Architecture in Mumbai, he spent time working for an international architectural firm before returning to India to continue his career in the same field. In 2003, the actor entered the world of entertainment and first appeared in Tujhe Meri Kasam alongside his future wife, Genelia Deshmukh. Prior to their marriage in 2012, they collaborated on three films together. The happy couple now have two sons: Riaan, born on November 25, 2013, and Rahyl, born on June 2, 2016.
