As an ardent fan of this remarkable actor, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, I find his journey absolutely captivating! From humble beginnings with a Bachelor of Science degree to gracing the silver screen alongside the legendary Khans, his story is nothing short of inspiring.

This actor’s professional path began with earning a Bachelor of Science degree, yet it was his fervor for theater while in college that paved the way for his thriving career. Upon relocating to Mumbai with his wife, he unfortunately fell victim to a dishonest broker. Despite this setback, his unwavering determination and diligence eventually led him to act alongside the iconic Khans—Salman, Shah Rukh, and Aamir.

Currently, he stands out as one of the most accomplished actors within the film industry, earning acclaim for his diverse acting abilities and commanding on-screen charisma.

The actor being referred to here is Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, known for his strong presence as a supporting actor. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree from Kirori Mal College in Delhi, Ayyub was an active participant in the college’s drama group, The Players.

It’s worth mentioning that several influential individuals in the Bollywood industry, including Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Raaz, directors like Ali Abbas Zafar and Kabir Khan, and writer Himanshu Sharma, are associated with The Players.

In his association with the society, Ayyub decided to delve into theater – both theoretically and practically. Despite not being accepted at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), he managed to secure a spot at the National School of Drama (NSD) where he graduated in 2007.

During an interview with Hindustan Times, the actor revealed that back in 2010, the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York had intentions of establishing a branch in India, and he was among those selected as potential faculty members. Unfortunately, due to some delays on their end, his circumstances changed instead.

At that point in time, Abhishek Banerjee, then a college junior and now an actor, who was involved with the casting crew for No One Killed Jessica, encouraged him to try out for the film. This resulted in his debut acting role. Following this chance, he accepted minor roles in Jannat 2 and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, eventually securing a substantial part in Anand L. Rai’s Raanjhanaa.

Significantly, when Zeeshan and his wife Rasika Agashe relocated from Delhi to Mumbai at the age of 24, they possessed minimal funds. A broker deceived them by collecting their money for three months’ rent rather than one, leaving them penniless. They faced hardship as a result.

As a renowned figure in the world of entertainment, I’ve had the privilege of sharing the silver screen with some of Bollywood’s greatest talents. From portraying a cherished friend to Shah Rukh Khan in Raees and Zero, to joining forces with Salman Khan in Tubelight, and working alongside Aamir Khan in Thugs of Hindostan, these collaborations have been truly unforgettable experiences. Additionally, I’ve had the pleasure of being part of a host of other films such as Mission Mangal, Sam Bahadur, Article 15, and Jogi, each one adding a unique chapter to my acting journey.

For the past seventeen years, Zeeshan Ayyub has been happily wed to Rasika Agashe, and they share a beautiful daughter.
