Meet actor whose debut movie flopped, Salman Khan suggested changing name; delivered four 100 crore films and is now pan-India star

Many popular Bollywood celebrities, such as Madhuri Dixit, Amitabh Bachchan, and Akshay Kumar, initially encountered career obstacles when their movies flopped at the theater, but they ultimately triumphed with numerous hit productions.

A comparable actress who faced a similar predicament is Kiara Advani. Her initial Bollywood venture didn’t succeed, but she has since risen to prominence with multiple blockbuster films. Notably, Kiara has starred in four movies that grossed over 100 crores each at the box office.

Known as Kiara Advani but originally Alia Advani, this well-liked actress boasts a large number of devoted followers. Recently, she appeared alongside the renowned South actor Ram Charan in the film “Game Changer.” Beyond her successful acting career, Kiara has a unique connection with Salman Khan and Isha Ambani.

Prior to joining the movie world, Salman Khan advised her to adopt the name Kiara, which she followed suit. Making her first appearance in Bollywood in 2014 through the film Fugly, regrettably the movie didn’t fare well at the ticket counter.

Yet, a significant shift occurred in her career pathway approximately two years later when she played Sakshi Dhoni in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. This movie turned out to be a massive hit, signifying the beginning of Kiara’s ascent towards stardom.

After that, Kiara has continued to star in hit movies such as Kabir Singh, Good Newwz, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Satya Prem Ki Katha, and Jug Jugg Jeeyo.

Kiara, aside from her movie roles, has a deep-rooted friendship with Isha Ambani, stemming from the fact that they were schoolmates at Dhirubhai Ambani International School.

In the year 2018, Kiara openly showed her affection towards Isha upon learning of Isha’s engagement to Anand Piramal, by posting a touching tribute expressing the depth of their longstanding friendship.

Beyond professional guidance, Kiara’s bond with Salman Khan goes back to personal relationships. In an interview, she revealed that Salman’s friendship with her aunt, Shaheen, was her earliest connection, and Salman has been friends with her mother, Genevieve Advani, since their childhood days.
