Among other Punjabi films in his repertoire are “Ardaas”, “Bambukat”, “Nikka Zaildar”, “Laung Laachi”, “Harjeeta”, and numerous others.

Ammy Virk first appeared in Bollywood with the 2021 movie Bhuj: The Pride of India, acting alongside Ajay Devgn. In the same year, he also featured in the sports biopic 83. In this film, Ammy took on the role of Balwinder Singh Sandhu, a character set within the story about the 1983 Cricket World Cup. Notably, Ranveer Singh portrayed Kapil Dev in the same movie.

In the year 2024, Ammy acted in the comedy movie “Bad Newz,” starring alongside Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri. His role was that of Gurbir Pannu, who contended with Vicky’s character Akhil for the affection of Saloni, played by Triptii.

Ammy is now publicizing the future release of the movie titled “Khel Khel Mein”. This comedic situation film features Ammy alongside stars like Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal. The movie is under the direction of Mudassar Aziz and will premiere in cinemas on August 15, 2024.

Among Ammy’s well-known tunes are Wang Da Naap, Qismat, Haaye Ve, Daryaa, Jaan Deyan Ge, and others. He has also contributed his vocals to several Hindi songs, such as the beloved Daryaa from the film Manmarziyaan.
