This captivating, open-top sports car serves as the introduction of the exclusive Mythos series. Debuting at the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the PureSpeed is designed to pay tribute to Mercedes-Benz’s illustrious motorsport heritage by merging advanced engineering with a daring, roofless design.
This exclusive model, the PureSpeed, is only available in 250 pieces. It boasts a daring design reminiscent of iconic racing cars. Its streamlined shape, elongated hood, and sharp-nosed front are a nod to the Mercedes-AMG ONE hypercar. Aerodynamic elements such as carbon fiber deflectors and rear diffusers not only add style but also boost performance. The car’s HALO system, borrowed from Formula 1 for safety, replaces the conventional A-pillar, offering both functionality and a stylish touch.
Beneath its sleek exterior, the PureSpeed model boasts a potent 4-liter V8 biturbo engine capable of producing 585 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. This powerhouse is coupled with AMG’s SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9-speed transmission and 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system, allowing the vehicle to sprint from zero to 62 mph in an astonishing 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 195 miles per hour. The open cabin is crafted to intensify the driving experience and envelop passengers in the thunderous sound of the engine.
