A revamped rendition of the film’s track, “Gori Hai Kalaiyan,” has been garnering attention online, and it seems that Arjun’s close friend and actor, Ranveer Singh, can’t get enough of it too!
On February 20th, Ranveer Singh shared a lively video on his Instagram stories, dancing to the tune of “Gori Hai Kalaiyan” song in his car. The video is a remake from the upcoming comedy film “Mere Husband Ki Biwi,” starring Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh. A brief snippet showcased Ranveer’s contagious enthusiasm as he reveled in the music.
He exclaimed the tune as being “OFFICIALLY FIRE!”, and also mentioned Arjun Kapoor in the post. The image shows him wearing trendy black spectacles, and he exudes coolness with his long beard and mustache style.

On February 6, the lively song “Gori Hai Kalaiyan” was unveiled. This new version bears a strong resemblance to a tune with the same title from Amitabh Bachchan’s 1990 film “Aaj Ka Arjun.” The modern rendition is performed by Badshah, Kanika Kapoor, Sharvi Yadav, and IP Singh. Notably, the original song was sung by the legendary Lata Mangeshkar and Shabbir Kumar.
Title Character’s Wife delves into the tale involving Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar’s personas. As Bhumi regains her memory following a period of retrograde amnesia, spanning 5-6 years, her spouse develops feelings for Rakul Preet, finding himself in a predicament between his former love and current sweetheart. The movie’s narrative anticipates an abundance of entertainment as Rakul and Bhumi compete for Arjun’s affection, employing every imaginable tactic to win him back.
Under the guidance of director Mudassar Aziz, this upcoming movie is being brought to you by Vashu Bhagnani & Puja Films. The production team includes Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh. Notable stars like Harsh Gujrat, Shakti Kapoor, among others, will be playing pivotal roles in the film. It is set to hit theaters on February 21, 2025.
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is actively involved in the filming of his next project alongside Aditya Dhar. This eagerly anticipated film boasts a star-studded cast that includes Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt in significant parts.
