As a seasoned sneakerhead with decades under my belt, I must say that the Nike Air Max Scorpion continues to captivate me with its unique blend of style and innovation. The latest metallic colorways unveiled are nothing short of a spectacle, especially the “Black/Burgundy” pair which seems to be channeling the essence of the iconic “Bred” colorway but with a touch of opulence that catches the eye.
Product: Nike Air Max Scorpion
For a few years now, Nike has been offering the Air Max Scorpion – a lifestyle sneaker that features a Flyknit and chenille upper blended together, along with an oversized sole supported by Air technology. Although various color options have already been released, Nike continues to unveil new ones.
Fresh previews of two distinct color schemes adorned with metallic accents have emerged, hinting at their inclusion in the sneaker collection for autumn. The first design, labeled “Black/Burgundy,” bears a likeness to last year’s popular “Bred” model but stands out due to its striking metallic coating on the upper part of the sole unit. Similarly, the “Pure Platinum/Metallic Silver” version showcases a glistening silver hue between the upper and the outsole.
Currently, there’s no information available about when Nike will launch these two metallic versions of the Air Max Scorpion. Keep an eye out for updates as we anticipate they’ll become available in stores by the end of this year, through Nike SNKRS and selected retailers. The initial price for each pair is set at $250 USD.
