Fool Michael Rapaport once, shame on you. Fool him twice, shame on the “Atypical” alum.
Previously, Rapaport issued an apology for having fallen victim to one of the Left’s most substantial falsehoods regarding President Donald Trump. Many established media journalists and even former presidents claimed that Trump had referred to white supremacists as “admirable” or “good” individuals following the “Unite the Right” rally in 2017, but this was actually untrue.
In the commencement of his 2020 election bid, the impeached ex-President Joe Biden embarked on a false statement. Later in the final phase of the 2024 campaign, President Barack Obama echoed this untruth.
Rapaport had held onto that belief for a considerable time, only confessing with sincere remorse later on. This week, he nearly succumbed to yet another deception.
The individual, who’s both an actor and podcaster, claimed he shared a picture showing tech entrepreneur Elon Musk apparently doing the “Heil Hitler” gesture on President Trump’s Inauguration Day. However, he swiftly removed the post following comments from his social media audience suggesting that he overlooked the broader context.
“I felt like I had been duped again,” Rapaport said on the latest episode of his podcast.
He stated straightforwardly, “That individual is quite clumsy or awkward,” and it’s not due to any loyalty to the X company. “I have no loyalty towards Elon Musk… I was blocked by him years ago for discussing his rocket projects and calling him an aspiring astronaut.
I’m a freelancer, not employed by any specific company… I answer only to myself and my personal beliefs… There are no boundaries when it comes to who I can work with.” He further emphasized.
Let me make one point clear, if someone is a Nazi, I prefer my Nazis to be like Elon Musk – donating money to Israel and meeting with its president, Benjamin Netanyahu. I want them to go to Israel after October 7th and provide testimony. In today’s world, that would certainly define a new type of Nazi, and that’s the kind I want.
Previously in his speech, the actor from “Beautiful Girls” discussed being deceived so severely by the “Very Fine People” deception.
He stated that one of his most challenging criticisms of Trump came following the events in Charlottesville. When examining Trump’s reaction, it was clear that there had been some misrepresentation by the media. He found this to be untrue, and as a result, he felt deceived.
Additionally, he acknowledged individuals who’ve voiced concerns about his evolution throughout the years. However, instead of denying these changes, he embraces them wholeheartedly, as everyone should continually adapt and grow over time.
Are you content with never changing throughout your lifetime? Let me remind you that you’ve already evolved. You will keep evolving… I hope for wisdom. I hope for the strength to remain receptive, to acquire wisdom, to hear and understand.
“If I’m the same person I was yesterday, I ain’t working hard enough,” he added.
For several years, Rapaport stood out as one of President Trump’s fiercest critics. However, in 2024, his perspective shifted as he came to understand that certain media portrayals of Trump were not entirely truthful.
