Working on Season 2 of 1923 feels like a zigzag, but it’s nice because it seems like working with family. Taylor tends to bring back many of the same actors and crew members.

What Will ‘1923’ Season 2 Be About?

Based on the finale of 1923 Season 1 and the trailer released by Paramount+, it seems that the struggle between Jacob and Cara for the ranch is expected to be the primary storyline in the next season. The climax of the first season hinted at Whitfield acquiring the Dutton’s ranch due to an overdue property tax, which could potentially be a major plot point for the series moving forward.

Based on the preview, it appears that Spencer’s return journey will play a significant role in Season 2. Given his long trip from Africa, one can anticipate numerous challenges along the way. However, with Alexandra no longer by his side, his journey becomes even more arduous. The trailer hints that Spencer understands the urgency of his situation as he races against time to get home. Additionally, there’s concern for Alex’s safety if the footage of a stranger grabbing her from behind is indicative of anything.

It seems quite probable that Elizabeth, especially as portrayed by Michelle Randolph, will play a significant role in the storyline of Season 2.
