Following the launch of its 3XL sneaker campaign a week ago, Balenciaga is back with a new advertising spotlight on their latest product – the Bel Air bag.
For this new round, Demna’s fashion label has enlisted Michelle Yeoh, Isabelle Huppert, and Naomi Watts to model their signature item. These stunning images, captured by Nadav Kander, showcase each actress in a unique role, dressed in the brand’s dark, stylish ready-to-wear clothing: illusion-like shoes, elegant evening dresses, and sharp pumps with knife-like heels. It’s worth mentioning that this theme mirrors “The Characters Campaign” launched by Balenciaga for their trendy Rodeo bag last month, featuring the same stars, Michelle Yeoh, Isabelle Huppert, and ambassador Kim Kardashian.
This bag carries the same name as the well-known Los Angeles district, mirroring the Rodeo bag, which was named after a popular shopping destination in that Southern California city. The design showcases a metal twist lock logo on its surface, connecting two slim belts across its broad outline. It boasts one large open compartment and multiple flap pockets. Coated with a matte transparent exterior, the bag uses genuine leather for a smooth texture and soft Nappa lining. Just as elegant as its namesake location, it exudes luxury.
