As a cinephile with a penchant for star-studded events and captivating stories, I am absolutely thrilled about this year’s Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) lineup! The gathering of luminaries such as Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Nick Jonas, Olivia Wilde, Michelle Yeoh, Emily Blunt, and Aamir Khan is a testament to the festival’s growing prestige.
Notable celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Nick Jonas, Olivia Wilde, and Michelle Yeoh have agreed to take part in discussions at the Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) during its fourth installment in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. These stars are known for their roles in films like Head of State, Power Ballad, Don’t Worry Darling, Booksmart, Everything Everywhere All at Once, and more.
On Wednesday, the organizers of the festival, which starts on Thursday and concludes on December 14, announced new speakers for the event. These additions include a Saudi Pioneers session featuring actor and poet Ibrahim Alhasawi and actor Moshal Almutairi, as well as fireside chats with Academy Award nominee Emily Blunt from the film “Oppenheimer” and Red Sea honoree Aamir Khan known for his role in “Dangal”.
Shivani Pandya Malhotra, managing director of RSIFF, expressed that our speaker lineup for this year is exceptionally impressive, featuring trailblazing artists who will discuss their experiences and stories from illustrious careers within our In Conversation series. These individuals range from esteemed filmmakers to captivating screen stars, and we are thrilled to have them join us in Jeddah this year, as we unite to honor the pinnacle of filmmaking at our ‘New Film Hub’ situated in Al-Balad, the city’s ancient Old Town.
