The filmmaker appears to strategically incorporate nudity in The White Lotus for specific plotlines, but he also recognizes the impact of including such scenes altogether. I can’t help but admire how Jason Isaacs’ bare-all scene in The White Lotus underscores Timothy Ratliff’s spiraling mental state. Moreover, it paved the way for the unsettling brotherly relationship between Saxon and Lochlan, as their intimate moment came later on.
