Miley Cyrus Hosts Starry Gucci Party With Performance of ‘Flowers’: “Is That Kendall Jenner Doing Harmonies?”

As a long-time fan and avid gamer, attending the Gucci Summer Celebration featuring Miley Cyrus was nothing short of a surreal experience for me. I have always admired Miley’s artistry and her ability to push boundaries in music and fashion, so getting the opportunity to witness her perform live, let alone up close and personal, was truly an honor.

“I didn’t desire to leave you, I didn’t wish for an argument. I started to cry, but then recalled – I represent Gucci,” Miley Cyrus playfully sang during her performance of “Flowers” at the Gucci Summer Celebration on Thursday.

At the Chateau Marmont, Gucci’s representative star held a poolside event in collaboration with the brand, marking one of her initial outings since securing two Grammy Awards for “Flowers” in February.

Midway through the event, Cyrus made her entrance on the pool deck with a lively dance, pausing to strike poses for photos and teasingly seeking advice from her team. She accessorized her shots with a fresh bottle of Gucci’s new Flora Gorgeous Orchid Eau de Parfum in hand. Later in the evening, Cyrus joined Gucci’s creative director Sabato De Sarno for more photos, playfully posing behind a keyboard. She reappeared later to entertain the crowd with a captivating performance.

At the recent Gucci Flora campaign event, Miley Cyrus provided the musical backdrop with a mellow rendition of “Flowers.” During her performance, she playfully wondered aloud if she heard Kendall Jenner joining in for harmonies when she spotted the model in the audience. Notable attendees included Salma Hayek Pinault, Maude Apatow, Finneas, Law Roach, Rumer Willis, Kim Petras, and Mark Foster. Cyrus’ family was also present with her mother Tish (accompanied by husband Dominic Purcell), boyfriend Maxx Morando, and siblings Brandi and Trace. Additionally, top-tier stylists Jeanne Yang, Jessica Paster, and Warren Alfie Baker graced the event with their presence according to THR.

During the nighttime event, guests made their way into the party through a blooming tunnel. They then indulged in an assortment of hors d’oeuvres and sweets influenced by flowers, as well as traditional poolside dishes such as sliders and fries. Refreshing signature cocktails were also on hand for sipping. A photo booth was a big hit among the guests, and they left with a bottle of the newly launched perfume as a keepsake.
