Actress Shriya Pilgaonkar initially entered the entertainment world through Shah Rukh Khan’s film “Fan,” produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF). Since then, she has gained recognition for her acting in series like Mirzapur, Guilty Minds, Taaza Khabar, and others. More recently, there are reports that she is set to reunite with YRF for the project known as “Mandala Murders.
Based on a recent report from Bollywood Hungama, it seems that Shriya Pilgaonkar is soon set to make an appearance in the upcoming series “Mandala Murders,” produced by YRF and Netflix. A source familiar with the project has revealed to the publication that the show will present the actress in a completely new role that we haven’t seen before.
According to the source, “The unique aspect about her character in the series is something we’re looking forward to unveiling, and we can hardly wait to watch her breathe life into it.
Approximately a week ago, Shriya posted a series of photos on Instagram with the caption “Feb in fragments: Work + Weddings + Workouts.” The first photo showed the Mirzapur actress sitting in her makeup room as she was engrossed in a script from Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films.
Responding to the post, one enthusiast shouted, “Wow, YRF! This is thrilling!” Meanwhile, another fan inquired, “Which upcoming film of Yash Raj Productions are you working on?

For those not familiar, Mandala Murders stars Vaani Kapoor, Surveen Chawla, and Vaibhav Raj Gupta in prominent roles. This intense thriller series is slated for release towards the end of 2025. Interestingly, it has been recently reported that director Gopi Puthran and his crew have resumed filming despite the primary shooting wrapping up earlier this year.
Based on a Mid-day article, the series Mandala Murders stars Vaani Kapoor in the detective role, untangling a web of murders. This production is touted as a daring endeavor filled with gripping action and complex storytelling. A source disclosed that during post-production, the creative team behind the show believed certain scenes needed adjustments to heighten the thriller’s tension and depth.
Earlier this year, it was formally unveiled that the show would be released, accompanied by a preview during a special event organized by the streaming service.
