To mark the Lunar New Year, Miu Miu has introduced “The Encounter,” an enchanting campaign featuring notable Chinese talent in various roles. The highlight is a short movie directed by renowned filmmaker Shujun Wei, featuring brand representatives Liu Haocun and Zhao Jinmai. This movie takes place in the charming Yi Lau Yi Cantonese tea restaurant in Beijing and showcases creative direction by Edward Quarmby and styling by Lotta Volkova. Jack Webb documents the celebrations through his photography.

Liu Haocun is recognized for her acting talents in films such as “One Second,” “A Little Red Flower,” and “Cliff Walkers.” Similarly, Zhao Jinmai has gained recognition through works like “The Wandering,” “Reset,” and “Amidst a Snowstorm of Love.” Behind the scenes, director Shujun Wei lends his expertise, having recently been nominated at the 76th Cannes Film Festival for “Only the River Flows” and earning a nomination for the “Golden Goblet Award” for “Mostly Sunny.
