As a long-time fan of Transformers, I must say that the addition of Starscream to Mob Control is nothing short of exhilarating! After following his treacherous antics since my childhood, it’s thrilling to finally have the chance to control him and wreak havoc in this strategic game.
The Transformers and Mob Control collaboration carries on, with Voodoo and Hasbro introducing a new game hero. Following the arrival of Optimus Prime several months back, we now have Starscream, the malevolent Decepticon, joining the roster. Starscream is the fourth playable character from the Transformers series, furthering the narrative of the Echoes from Cybertron storyline.
In Mob Control’s newest episode, Starscream’s Masterplan, all new content is included. Following the debut of Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, and Megatron, Starscram offers a unique battle approach by allowing you to alternate between his robot and jet modes. Each form has its own unique abilities, so it’s crucial to select the appropriate one based on the circumstances at hand.
In his robot mode, Starscream employs his well-known null-ray guns for long-range attacks, which can momentarily stun adversaries and present strategic openings. Feel free to transition into jet form whenever you find it convenient. Doing so enables him to launch a rapid missile salvo before returning to the initial spot. However, remember that there’s a cool-down period, so use this ability judiciously.
The episode offers seven fresh levels, concluding with a three-part battle against a boss that challenges your abilities. To participate, you’ll gather Energon hidden within chests during normal gameplay. Successfully finishing the entire episode rewards some of the blueprints required to unlock Starscream in the Armory, while extra blueprints can be obtained through the Transformers Season.
