The Mid Season Cup for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is coming back to Riyadh in 2025 for the Esports World Cup, offering another chance for international competition and a massive $3 million prize fund. In line with EWC’s expanding dedication to mobile esports, the MSC will also be showcased again during the 2026 tournament edition.
Beginning on July 10th and lasting until July 13th during the EWC Festival, teams that haven’t qualified yet will have a final opportunity to secure their place in the main event through the Wildcard stage. Following this, the official Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament will take place from July 23rd to August 2nd, showcasing 16 of the world’s top MLBB teams.
This year’s format maintains what has proven successful: a group stage consisting of two double-knockout tournaments with eight teams each, followed by a single-elimination playoff for the remaining eight teams. Additionally, the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) will receive an extra $10,000 bonus on top of the massive prize pool.
As a fervent enthusiast, I’m excited to share that the global qualifiers are already in full swing! Top teams from dynamic regions such as MPL Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and LATAM are battling it out for their spots, while champions hailing from countries like Cambodia, Türkiye, and Myanmar have either secured their place or are on the brink of qualification.
1) The North America Challenger Tournament has come to an end, leaving BloodThirstyKings as the qualifiers. On the other hand, the MSC x EWC China Qualifier and the MSC Wildcard in July will ultimately decide which teams make it to the final bracket.
