Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is gearing up for the Women’s Invitational Esports World Cup 2025

After an astonishing end to the 2024 Esports World Cup, it has been announced that the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational (MWI) will make its comeback in Riyadh, scheduled for July 2025. Last year’s tournament was marked by an unprecedented victory as Smart Omega Empress dethroned long-reigning champions Team Vitality in the final match, breaking their three-year, 24-tournament winning streak.

At present, the competition is intensifying as 16 top women’s teams in MLBB are gearing up for a fierce fight for honor and an unprecedented prize fund. The Multi-World Invitational (MWI) 2025, scheduled from July 15th to 19th, will begin with a Group Stage consisting of all 16 qualified teams, employing a double-elimination format.

The best eight teams will move on to a knockout stage competition, fighting for a piece of a total prize fund worth $550,000, along with an additional $10,000 bonus going to the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament.

This year’s qualifying system is drawing in a broader range of top-tier players than ever before, with talent from almost every area being represented. As it stands, several heavyweights have already clinched their places, such as DreamMax (from MWI 2025 LATAM Qualifiers), CFU Serendipity (Queen Legends Season 1 winners), NAVI MY (MYSG Qualifier contenders), and Falcons Vega MENA (Carry1st Africa Cup participants).

More slots are set to be acquired via upcoming local tournaments such as BOG Season 1, Athena League, and Lady MVP Season 6, along with additional regional qualifiers from China, North America, Southeast Asia (Mekong), Mongolia, and Turkey, all concluding in the coming weeks.
