- Monster Hunter Wilds players are struggling with Tempered Mizutsune due to its speed, hard-hitting attacks, and Bubbleblight mechanic.
- Veterans were complaining about how easy the game was. They no longer are.
- BUBBLES!
Although Monster Hunter Wilds has been widely acclaimed as one of the standout games of the year, it hasn’t been without its share of criticisms. Since its release, players have voiced concerns about graphical and performance problems, as well as frequent crashes. Furthermore, many seasoned series players have raised issues that the game is overly simplified, making it too easy for them to enjoy.
As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but notice the shift in the community’s discourse lately – it appears that the game has stopped being labeled as “too easy” by many players, and I believe the credit for this transformation goes to the latest addition to our hunting grounds, the elusive Mizutsune. Debuting in Monster Hunter Wilds with its inaugural title update, alongside the Grand Hub, Mizutsune initially seemed manageable for us hunters. However, it seems that the real challenge lies not in the base version of this creature, but in confronting the Tempered Mizutsune. Quite an intriguing development!
Monster Hunter Wilds Players Are Having A Hard Time With Tempered Mizutsune
Enhanced versions of monsters boast greater strength and also introduce fresh attack strategies. While Mizutsune is tough to chase already, due to its rapid speed and swift assaults, the Tempered version increases the damage intensity significantly too. In fact, it’s so powerful that high-level players are getting knocked out with a single blow. To add to the challenge, the attack speed is so lightning-fast that there’s barely any time for dodging at all.
On Reddit, a player sought the community’s help in explaining why their well-equipped character, boasting a fully upgraded Gore Ark chest set (4 pieces) and having maxed HP, was unable to withstand attacks from Tempered Mizutsune. They mentioned that they had additional defense from meals and Armorskin, but still succumbed to a one-shot attack. They acknowledged a possibility of poor timing in dodging, but expressed their concern that not surviving even a single attack under such circumstances seemed excessive.
It appears that many individuals are finding this creature particularly challenging. A user shared their experience yesterday of getting hit by a powerful tail swipe from a tempered Mitzune, despite having 430 defense. They commented, “It certainly packs a punch.” Meanwhile, those who enjoy tougher opponents are now content and quiet, leaving room for others to voice their displeasure about the increased difficulty.
From my perspective as a fan, I’ve come to realize that Tempered Mizutsune packs quite a punch, and it’s all thanks to its Bubbleblight ability. It seems many players have underestimated the power of blights, but now they’re finding out the hard way with this bubbleblight! When you’re hit by an attack while under bubbleblight, you take increased damage based on how quickly you’re struck. Given Mizutsune’s swift movements, it’s no wonder players are feeling the heat!
It appears that coordinating its speed and toxicity, Tempered Mizutsune proves to be one of the toughest hunts in the game. To ensure success during your hunt, remember to stock up on sufficient amounts of Cleanser before engaging the monster.
