As a seasoned gamer who’s traversed countless digital landscapes, I can confidently say that the upcoming addition of Monument Valley 3 to the Netflix Games lineup is nothing short of exhilarating. Having delved into the captivating world of Monument Valley before, I eagerly await the opportunity to explore its new expanses and unravel the intricate puzzles it promises.
Ustwo Games is all set to carry forward their highly-praised series of puzzle games with the upcoming title, Monument Valley 3. This new installment is scheduled for release on December 10th. The first two Monument Valley games will also be joining the Netflix Games library, with the first one available from September 19th and the second one arriving on October 29th.
In terms of what you might encounter in Monument Valley 3, it’s set to offer the largest and most intricate installment of the series so far. The story revolves around protagonist Noor, who sets off on a mission to uncover a new source of light to prevent the world from vanishing. Along her journey, she’ll be able to navigate her boat freely across the vast new landscape of Monument Valley 3, while encountering and overcoming the familiar challenging puzzles that define the series.
Monument Valley has had a deep connection with Netflix for quite some time, extending beyond their collection of games. The game became a prominent feature on various episodes of the popular political drama series, House of Cards. Despite its long-awaited arrival, we’re thrilled to announce that it is now part of the Netflix Games library, bringing a fresh installment to fans!
Into the valley
It’s no wonder to me that Netflix is heavily investing in bringing the popular Monument Valley franchise onto their platform, considering its success. I believe this strategy could be beneficial for integrating “tie-in” games into their service. Instead of creating entirely new games based on existing series, it seems more sensible to have a game that already fits within their series join their catalog. To me, it seems like a logical move, so it’s surprising that Monument Valley appears to be the first instance of this, as far as I know.
