In celebration of Mortal Kombat Mobile’s 10th anniversary, there’s a significant upgrade on the way, packed with new content and exclusive events to honor a full decade of intense, swift fighting action. Since its debut in 2015, this combatant has been downloaded approximately 230 million times and now boasts more than 175 fighters spanning every era of the series.
In honor of this significant achievement, Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios will be introducing two brand-new characters for gameplay, a fresh game mode, and daily perks starting from March 25th. Joining the action will be MK1 Geras and Classic Skarlet, our latest additions to the roster.
In simpler terms, MK1 Geras is a devoted protector in Liu Kang’s New Era, using time and sand as his weapons to safeguard his allies. His ability called Sands of Time passively reduces damage he receives and heals his team members. When he uses his Fatal Blow, Colliding Worlds, it pulls opponents through a time portal, dealing them a powerful double strike.
Classical Scarlet, modeled after her Mortal Kombat 11 appearance, is a sorceress who gains power from every fight she engages in. She saps the vitality of her adversaries, rendering them feeble, and simultaneously boosts the potency of her own strikes.
In the special 10-Year Anniversary Kombat Pass, both characters will be showcased. The Premium Pass comes with a Diamond version of MK1 Geras, while the Premium Plus Pass provides entry to MK1 Geras and early access to Gold Classic Skarlet.
From April 1st to 10th, there will be a unique login event that offers popular characters like MK11 Scorpion, Thundergod Raiden, and Fire God Liu Kang for free each day. Don’t forget to take advantage of this opportunity! Additionally, the combat experience is being upgraded as Faction Wars transitions into Realm Klash starting March 26th. This update includes refreshed challenges and rewards.
