Mukesh Khanna questions Shatrughan Sinha over Sonakshi Sinha’s lack of knowledge on Ramayana; 'If I were Shaktimaan today...

As an ardent fan of Mukesh Khanna and his profound insights, I find myself deeply moved by his passionate stand on the importance of Indian culture and epics like Ramayana, especially in today’s digital age where distractions are rampant. His unwavering dedication to uphold our rich heritage through his iconic character, Shaktimaan, is truly commendable.

Mukesh Khanna frequently draws notice for his candid demeanor and unexpected disclosures in Bollywood. Lately, the actor voiced his displeasure towards Sonakshi Sinha, as she failed to answer a question regarding Ramayana on Kaun Banega Crorepati. He pointed out that, unlike those who criticize the actress, he believes it’s her father, Shatrughan Sinha, who should be held responsible for not educating her about the subject.

In a recent chat with Siddharth Kannan on YouTube, Mukesh Khanna shared his reasons for wanting to revive his famous character Shaktimaan, which was last seen in 2005. He believes that today’s children would greatly benefit from the guidance provided by this character more so than those from earlier times.

Today’s children are often absorbed in the online world instead of engaging in traditional activities or family interactions. They form relationships with peers, sometimes losing touch with their roots and perhaps forgetting the names of their grandparents. For instance, one girl was unable to identify who God Hanuman retrieved the Sanjeevani booti for. This observation was made by Khanna.

When inquired about whether he was speaking of Sonakshi Sinha, the actor-director affirmed it. He shared his astonishment that the actress couldn’t respond to the question since her father is Shatrughan Sinha, and her brothers’ names are Luv and Kush Sinha, who were named after characters from the Indian epic Ramayana.

Khanna expressed a differing viewpoint from those who faulted the Heeramandi actress and accused her father. Specifically, he challenged veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha as to why he adopted such contemporary ways instead of instilling knowledge about ancient Indian tales, such as the Ramayana, in his children.

Regarding his character, Mukesh expressed, “In my current role, I’d engage children by educating them on Indian culture and Sanatan Dharma, similar to how Shaktimaan does.

During an episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 11, Sonakshi made an appearance and was asked who Lord Hanuman fetched the Sanjeevani booti (herb) for in the show. However, the actress seemed perplexed by the question and opted to use a lifeline, which led to criticism from online viewers.
