As we near the end of March, the fun is far from over! This week’s streaming lineup promises an array of original movies tailored for streaming platforms, the premiere of a highly-anticipated 2024 blockbuster, as well as both fresh and returning TV series.
As a cinephile, I’m excitedly counting down the days until this upcoming week! From diving back into the world of Daredevil to revisiting the Pride Lands in The Lion King, and catching up with Nicole Kidman’s latest project to laughing along with Seth Rogen, it promises to be a captivating stream-filled week. Here are some highlights not to miss!
Daredevil: Born Again, Episodes 5 & 6 March 25 (Disney+)
Instead of just airing a single episode of Daredevil: Born Again this week, we’re fortunate enough to watch two! The fifth episode is highly anticipated and could spark lots of conversations among fans. While it might have been my favorite episode of the season, everyone’s opinion may vary.

Mufasa: The Lion King March 26
The original version of “The Lion King,” titled “Mufasa: The Lion King,” didn’t quite reach the staggering box office figures of the recent remake, but it was still a resounding success. Directed by Barry Jenkins and featuring music by Lin-Manuel Miranda, this Disney production uses state-of-the-art digital animation to tell the captivating tale of how Mufasa rose to become the Lion King, revealing the events leading up to the story we all know.

The Studio March 26 (Apple TV+)
With “Silo” and “Severance,” an Apple TV+ subscription has been primarily associated with psychological dramas lately, but comedy enthusiasts have something fresh this week. The entertainment industry adores nothing more than self-celebration, and Seth Rogen’s new series “The Studio” seems to embrace that while also taking some playful jabs. In the show, Rogen plays the head of a movie studio, attempting to maneuver through the intricate landscape of filmmaking. The series is set to feature appearances by numerous prominent stars on both sides of the camera.

Holland March 27 (Prime Video)
In the latest movie of Nicole Kidman titled “Holland,” which recently debuted at SXSW, fans eager to witness Kidman in an unsettling role should have a Prime Video subscription. In this film, Kidman portrays a wife and mother maintaining a seemingly idyllic suburban life. However, things take a turn for the worse when she starts suspecting her husband (Matthew Macfayden) of leading a secret life.

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip – March 28 (Disney+)
It seems it’s been quite some time since our Disney+ subscription provided us with an original film, offering a fresh spin on a well-known tale. Eva Longoria and Cheech Marin share the screen in this story about a family embarking on a journey to Mexico City, where one misfortune after another befalls them.

The Life List March 28 (Netflix)
This week, an enticing reason to acquire a Netflix subscription lies in the captivating romantic comedy-drama, starring former Disney Channel sensation Sofia Carson. In this heartfelt production, a young woman embarks on a journey prompted by her mother’s (Connie Nielsen) last wish: to fulfill a bucket list she created as a teenager, following her tragic passing.
Next week signals the close of March and the arrival of April, which means a significant change in streaming content as numerous titles depart one platform, potentially reappearing elsewhere. April also brings back several beloved streaming series such as Netflix’s fifth season of You and Disney+’s second season of Andor.
