As a fan who has followed Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ career journey for years, I am absolutely thrilled to see them diving into the world of television production with their upcoming series, “My Darlings.” Their life experience in the entertainment industry, coupled with their keen instincts for compelling stories, makes them the perfect team to bring this darkly humorous and suspenseful tale to life.
Amazon MGM Studios is teaming up with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos for its next series project.
Ripa and Consuelos have secured the rights for the production of “My Darlings”, a thriller currently in the works at Amazon Studios. Their production company, Milojo Productions, picked up the novel with the same title by Marie Still, which will be released on Tuesday by Rising Action Publishing (with worldwide distribution by Simon & Schuster). Justin W. Lo and Leo Richardson, known for their work on Netflix’s “You”, are adapting the book and will also act as executive producers. James Griffiths, best known for his work on “A Million Little Things”, is set to direct and produce this project as well.
The movie titled “My Darlings” can be characterized as a satirical thriller that revolves around Eloise Williams, an interior designer, devoted wife, and mother, as well as the reigning queen bee of her social group – who happens to be a serial killer. However, when a secretive blackmailer hints at revealing her past crimes, murder transforms from a whim into a vital necessity for Eloise.
Still expressed enthusiasm about no other group being more fitting to portray Eloise, the murderous mother, and her narrative. He’s excited to collaborate with Leo Richardson, Justin W. Lo, Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, along with Milojo’s team, and James Griffiths and Fee Fi Fo Films’ team, whose creative ideas I believe will captivate audiences and make for an addictive binge-watch.

Milojo has created several unscripted productions such as the game show “Generation Gap” on ABC, the docuseries “Fire Island” on Logo, and “Dirty Soap” on E! In terms of scripted content, they have produced three movies for Lifetime and sold projects to networks like ABC, Hulu, and Apple TV+.
Ripa, Consuelos, and Albert Bianchini are set to serve as executive producers for the production of “My Darlings,” under Milojo Productions. Additionally, Lo, Richardson, and Griffiths (through his Fee Fi Fo Films) will also executive produce; Lindsay Maizel is a co-executive producer. Michael Halpern, vice president of production and development at Milojo, will be in charge of the project’s oversight.
Milojo Productions is represented by Creative Arts Agency (CAA) and lawyer Jake Levy. Lo is represented by Rothman Brecher Ehrich Livingston, Art/Work Entertainment, and attorney Erik Hyman. Richardson is also with CAA under the guidance of attorney Jared Levine. Griffiths is represented by William Morris Endeavor (WME). Still and Rising Action Publishing are represented by Sugar23.
