Exciting update for enthusiasts this coming June: The 2022 fantasy anime series “My Isekai Life” has secured a new platform for streaming.
In June 2025, Hulu has announced its lineup for new releases. One exciting addition to their schedule is the arrival of “My Isekai Life,” which includes the full Season 1 debut. The English-subtitled and -dubbed versions of this captivating series will premiere on Hulu on June 23, 2025.
My Isekai Life Is a Familiar, but Entertaining Take On the Isekai Anime Genre
Titled “My Isekai Life: From Desk-bound to World’s Strongest Sage!“, this 12-episode anime series is adapted from the light novel by Shinkoshoto and Huuka Kazabana. The story revolves around Yuji Sano, a man stuck in his mundane office job, who suddenly finds himself transported to another world through his computer at home. Despite his longing to return to his old life (and his towering pile of work), Yuji discovers he can communicate with creatures like animals and monsters due to his Master Tamer class. He forms a special bond with slimes, who share their extensive magical knowledge with him, enabling him to rapidly advance to an exceptional level in a second character class.
The 2022 anime series, “My Isekai Life“, shares many traits with popular isekai titles like recent favorites, but during its initial broadcast, it was often overlooked due to the crowded anime season and standard production values. However, its upcoming release on Hulu offers viewers a chance to appreciate the series at their own pace, free from the pressure of keeping up with a weekly schedule. Notably, this will be the first time the series is available for streaming since its initial airing on HIDIVE.
By the close of June, you can stream all 12 episodes of “My Isekai Life” on Hulu. Scott Gibbs leads the English dub cast, lending his voice to Yuji. Kira Vincent-Davis, an English voice actress, brings Dryad, the charming horned girl with blonde hair, to life. The manga adaptation of the series is published by Square Enix and showcases Ponjea’s illustrations.
