As a long-time admirer of streetwear and athletic footwear fusion, I can hardly contain my excitement for the NAKED x adidas Tischtennis and Samba collaboration! Growing up as a child of the ’90s, I’ve always been drawn to the retro aesthetics that these brands embody.
Product Name: adidas Table Tennis and Samba – NAKED Edition
Latest News: Copenhagen-based retailer NAKED has collaborated with adidas once more, designing not just a laced Ping Pong shoe which we previously mentioned, but also a version of the Samba. Both models feature white uppers and lace accents, accompanied by two distinct gum soles. The pre-release of this project has already occurred, with both pairs selling out quickly. However, a worldwide launch is planned for September 13; the Ping Pong shoe will retail at $130 USD, while the Samba will be priced at $140 USD.

Initially designed for professional athletes, the adidas Tischtennis has now transformed into a representation of unconventional style. In collaboration with NAKED, this legendary sneaker is given a feminine touch. The traditional mesh upper is swapped out for elaborate lacing, providing a dainty and breezy appearance without compromising the shoe’s lightweight, low-profile construction. Elegant suede details and nylon 3-stripes serve as reminders of the model’s vintage origins.
In this revamped design, you’ll find an immaculate white lace upper, paired with a cream-tinted tongue and laces for a soft contrast. The gum rubber sole offers durability and grip, while the fabric lining guarantees all-day comfort. NAKED’s take on this classic tennis shoe maintains its athletic roots but adds an element of sophistication, resulting in a versatile sneaker that effortlessly moves between casual and stylish settings.
From August 8 onwards, you can purchase the sneaker directly from NAKED’s official site. Additionally, it will be available for purchase in person at NAKED’s new flagship store and at selected retail outlets.
