nanamica and Batoner Release Capsule of Winter Essentials

Nanamica recently introduced a debut partnership with Batoner, showcasing a collection of cold-weather necessities. By merging practical and crafted details, Batoner brought its high-quality knitwear techniques to key items in nanamica’s minimalist design aesthetic.

Every item produced by Batoner is made in a factory situated in Sagae City, Yamagata prefecture – a place renowned for its knitwear production. Although the label was launched in 2013, it draws inspiration from Okuyama Meriyasu, who founded the original brand way back in 1951.

The headlining piece for our joint assortment is a versatile quilted liner jacket available in timeless shades of khaki and navy. Each jacket showcases an intricate knitted exterior adorned with a diamond pattern, woven into the fabric, and boasts contrast stitching along its edges. For added warmth, there’s a synthetic filling inside, and a unique co-branded tag displays both brand logos.

Our design team created a fresh line of long-sleeve t-shirts with horizontal stripes for the inner layers. These t-shirts are available in khaki/white and gray/black stripe combinations. They’re designed to have an oversized fit, with a dropped shoulder style that aligns with our brand nanamica’s traditional look. Lastly, this collection also includes two puffer scarves; one side features striped fabric while the other is lined with synthetic material, alternating on each scarf.

The first collection from Nanamica and Batoner is now up for grabs on Nanamica’s online store as well as their brick-and-mortar outlets.
