After a brief run in theaters, “Narnia” is anticipated to appear on Netflix around Christmas day. Earlier speculations suggested a December debut in theaters, but it appears that Netflix and Gerwig have reached a mutually beneficial decision, with “Narnia” set to screen in cinemas before it becomes available on the streaming platform. The film is being promoted as a “Netflix/IMAX” release, similar to how Amazon MGM Studios marketed “Red One” as both a theatrical and streaming production.
