As a dedicated follower of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s illustrious career, I can confidently say that his latest role as Upendra Nath Rajkhowa promises to be another masterpiece added to his already impressive repertoire. The fact that his brother Faizuddin is producing the film adds an exciting layer to the project, making it a true family affair.
More recently, Nawazuddin Siddiqui graced our screens in Rautu Ka Raaz, further demonstrating his exceptional acting skills. Excited fans are looking forward to seeing this talented actor again, and luckily for them, there’s some fantastic news! Nawazuddin’s brother, Faizuddin Siddiqui, has shared that the upcoming film will feature Nawazuddin in the role of Upendra Nath Rajkhowa, a contentious Assamese judge. Remarkably, it turns out that his brother is also involved in producing this very movie.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s brother, Faizuddin Siddiqui, has verified that a movie is being produced. This film will focus on the series of incidents culminating in Rajkhowa’s apprehension and execution, shedding light on his intricate personality.
He said in a statement, “I was super intrigued by this story and I really wanted to be a part of such a film so I thought of going ahead and producing this film myself in my own production house and who better than my brother Nawazuddin Siddiqui to play the role of Upendra Nath Rajkhowa who is an Assamese judge. We all already know the versatility and range of Nawaz and I am delighted to announce this project with my brother”
During an interview with India Today, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui expressed that it’s perfectly acceptable for actors to receive their film compensation following the completion of the movie, rather than at the project’s start.
As a seasoned actor with years of experience in the film industry, I firmly believe that the quality of a film should never be compromised for monetary reasons. Like myself, many artists have struggled to make ends meet while pursuing our passion for cinema. However, I understand that productions require funding, and sometimes fees need to be adjusted accordingly. Yet, I strongly advocate for a flexible payment structure that allows us to concentrate on creating great art without the immediate financial burden. This approach has been crucial in my own career, enabling me to focus solely on the craft of acting and delivering memorable performances. In essence, let’s prioritize the creation of excellent films over financial constraints, ensuring we can continue telling captivating stories that resonate with audiences worldwide.
In his remarks, the actor from “Gangs of Wasseypur” noted that the film industry has undergone a transformation due to the emergence of indie movies. He went on to say that these films, which gain recognition when they are screened overseas, have contributed somewhat to this shift in the industry.
Next up for Nawazuddin Siddiqui, fresh from his role in Rautu Ka Raaz, are appearances in the films Oil Kumar, Marvelous, Enigmatic Face, and Whispers.
