NCIS: What Gibbs Actor Mark Harmon Looks Like Today

As a huge fan of Mark Harmon, I couldn’t be more thrilled to see him making a comeback after taking some time off the Hollywood radar. His recent appearances in “NCIS: Origins” and the upcoming Disney sequel “Freaky Friday 2” are proof that his career is far from over.

Mark Harmon has taken a brief break from the limelight following his departure from “NCIS” in 2021. However, he’s set to make a comeback as he’s been spotted filming for “Freaky Friday 2” and is becoming more visible. Moreover, Harmon is now part of the cast of the upcoming spin-off series “NCIS: Origins,” where he will reprise his iconic role as Leroy Jethro Gibbs.

I’ve noticed that since June, there have only been a few sightings of the actor at paparazzi events. However, he has made appearances at CBS events to promote “Origins.” In May, during one such event, I had the pleasure of observing Harmon alongside Austin Stowell, who will be portraying Gibbs in the series. Harmon shared that he would be contributing a voiceover narration for the show, and it was fascinating to observe the contrast between how the two actors embody the character of Gibbs. It seems that Harmon’s career is far from over, and any speculations about his retirement were unwarranted.

Mark Harmon’s career is on the rise

NCIS: What Gibbs Actor Mark Harmon Looks Like Today

Mark Harmon, known for his role as Special Agent Gibbs on NCIS and as Ryan, the talk show host husband of Tess in “NCIS: Origins,” will return to act as Ryan in the upcoming Disney sequel, “Freaky Friday 2.” Despite Tess and her daughter Anna’s chaotic lives once again intertwining, Harmon’s character will find himself involved. The situation becomes even more complex when Anna develops a relationship with an unnamed character, played by Manny Jacinto.

Harmon isn’t working on any other projects at the moment, but it’s probable that he’ll take on more than just producing and narrating “Origins.” With Gibbs having retired from NCIS but still available to help when needed, there’s a good chance Harmon will rejoin the show for some justice-serving action. It’s a role both characters would embrace.
