As a seasoned gamer who’s spent countless hours immersed in the virtual world, I must say that Beyoncé’s upcoming performance on Netflix during the NFL Christmas Gameday is like striking gold in a digital treasure hunt! The excitement levels are skyrocketing, especially considering her history-making performances at previous Super Bowls.
On Christmas Day, Netflix is set to host Beyoncé’s special “Cowboy Carter” themed performance during their NFL Christmas Gameday broadcast. Specifically, she’ll take the stage as the halftime entertainer for the Ravens and Texans game airing live on Wednesday, December 25th. This will be one of two games shown on Netflix that day.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m hyped about Netflix stepping into a fresh holiday tradition, launching live games on their platform! Previously, they announced that they’d be the global hub for two NFL’s Christmas Day showdowns – the Kansas City Chiefs will square off against the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m. ET, and later at 4:30 p.m. ET, we’ve got the Baltimore Ravens battling it out with the Houston Texans. The Texans will be hosting the Ravens at NRG Stadium. To add more excitement, Beyoncé is joining in, making a comeback to her hometown of Houston for Christmas!
The upcoming show will be co-produced by Parkwood Entertainment, owned by Beyoncé, and Jesse Collins Entertainment. This event will see Beyoncé performing tracks from her hit album “Cowboy Carter,” marking the first time she’s performed these songs in a show. With a history of impressive performances on NFL stages, Beyoncé took the spotlight for Super Bowl XLVII in 2013 in New Orleans, joined by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child. In 2016, she shared the stage with Coldplay and Bruno Mars during one of the most-watched Super Bowl halftime shows ever. Details about Beyoncé’s Christmas Gameday halftime performance are being kept secret, but fans can expect some exciting surprises for this show.
Stay tuned for more information and watch the announcement below.
