Netflix Is Releasing a Documentary on the Zodiac Killer

As an enthusiast, I can’t wait to dive into the enigma that is the Zodiac Killer with Netflix’s upcoming docuseries titled “This is the Zodiac Speaking“. Back in the ’60s, this chilling serial killer left a trail of terror across California’s Bay Area, claiming the lives of five innocent souls.

The identity of the killer was never discovered. Over fifty years later, the Zodiac Killer is widely regarded as the most famous – and perplexing – unsolved murder case in the US. The only clue pointing to the killer was a series of letters mailed to major newspapers, which included the use of cryptograms.

The upcoming documentary features a family presenting previously unseen proof implicating the sole suspect publicly named by police – former elementary school teacher Arthur Leigh Allen, a known sex offender. Despite never being officially accused of these crimes, Allen passed away in 1992 before charges could be brought against him.

“I really thought I knew him… but I didn’t,” one man who knew Allen says.
