A crime series by Guy Ritchie is currently being produced for Paramount+ in collaboration with Showtime, and it has recently brought on board actors such as Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan, and Emily Barber to join the main cast.
This upcoming, unnamed series boasts an impressive lineup including Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren, and Paddy Considine as main characters. The story revolves around two rival families in London whose criminal activities span across the globe. A key figure is the dedicated “fixer” who is sworn to safeguard one of these families at any cost.
This untitled series features Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren, and Paddy Considine as prominent figures. It’s a global crime drama that focuses on two feuding London-based families whose illicit operations span the globe. The narrative centers around a steadfast “fixer” who is bound to protect one of these families no matter what.
In this production, Bell takes on the character of Richie, the emerging head of a south London Stevenson gang, while Betts assumes the part of Brendan, who is known to be the eldest child of Conrad (Brosnan) and Maeve (Mirren). Dwan portrays O’Hara, a lawyer for the Harrigan family, and Barber steps into the role of Alice, a friend of Jan. This was previously announced that Joanne Froggatt would play Jan.
Among the previously announced actors are Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, and Jasmine Jobson. The upcoming Guy Ritchie production is being produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios and will be released worldwide in 2025 on Paramount+.
The series is overseen by a team of executive producers which includes Keith Cox, Nina L. Diaz, David C. Glasser, Ritchie, Jez Butterworth, Ronan Bennett, Kris Thykier, Ivan Atkinson, Hardy, Dean Baker, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin and Bob Yari.
Following Paramount+’s decision to produce a spinoff of the crime drama “Ray Donovan,” directed and executive produced by Guy Ritchie, comes another project from his stable. This new venture, named “The Donovans,” is inspired (loosely) by the hit series that ran for seven seasons on Showtime and featured Liev Schreiber as a problem solver in LA.
However, unlike before when it was presumed to be connected to “The Associate” and based in the U.K., the Guy Ritchie crime series is now a self-contained series that is no longer linked to “The Donovans.
