New Legacy of Kain Projects Has Fans Hopeful for Series’ Future

The remastered versions of Soul Reaver 1 & 2 were successful, and now we’re seeing an encyclopedia and tabletop role-playing game developed based on the series. Extending the lore of this game franchise could potentially lead to additional remasters or new installments in the near future.

A recent announcement has revealed that we will be introducing two new Legacy of Kain ventures: “The Book of Nosgoth” and “Scourge of the Sarafan.” The former, “The Book of Nosgoth,” is an authoritative guidebook for this series, delving deep into its game production, characters, and numerous other aspects. On the other hand, “Scourge of the Sarafan” is a tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) that takes place during the Sarafan Order’s campaign against the vampiric menace.
