At last, Monster Hunter Wilds has arrived, yet some players aren’t thrilled about purchasing its additional content. This comes after Capcom had earlier acknowledged that the much-anticipated game would include cosmetic DLC.
In simpler terms, the mod named “Unlimited Character and Palico Edits” by creator Ridog8 on Nexus enables users to modify their hunter’s appearance an unlimited number of times for free, as opposed to purchasing Capcom’s Character Edit Voucher DLC priced at $6.99. This mod also allows players to customize the appearance of their feline companions (Palicos) without any additional cost.
It’s not surprising that the mod has become popular among Monster Hunter Wilds PC players, given it has been downloaded over 12,000 times in just two days. The mod is easy to install and use, according to Ridog8, who explains its function: “This mod continues to work even when character/palico edit vouchers are at zero.” Essentially, this means that players can use the mod even if they have no more paid vouchers left – it makes the game behave as though they do.
