As a long-time subscriber to various streaming services, I can confidently say that the upcoming releases are nothing short of a treasure trove for us content enthusiasts!
This week brings another wave of fresh content across top streaming platforms, and with Netflix offering an abundance of new titles, it can sometimes be challenging to discern the cream from the crop. Disney+ might not see as frequent updates unless you subscribe to Hulu too, making it tricky to determine when it’s worth tuning in. To help simplify your content exploration, here are some highly-anticipated new releases that are at least worth giving a glance.
Emily in Paris: Season 4, Part 2 – September 12 (Netflix)
Netflix, the trailblazer of binge-watching, has experimented with a fresh release approach by dividing new seasons of popular series into two segments. The latest show to adopt this strategy is Emily in Paris, and the first half of Season 4 became available to all subscribers in mid-August. This week, fans who have been eagerly waiting will finally get their hands on Part Two.
LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy September 13 (Disney+)
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but marvel at the fact that LEGO isn’t just about endless hours of creative play with colorful bricks. It’s also the hub of some truly spectacular animated TV shows and movies. The match between LEGO and Star Wars has been seamless since the initial video games based on these iconic concepts, followed by a plethora of animated projects over the years. The latest addition to this series, “LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy,” takes us on an exciting journey where chaos ensues across the galaxy due to an ancient artifact being accidentally activated by an unlucky hero. Now, it’s up to him to set things right again!
Tulsa King September 15 (Paramount+)
In a fresh turn of events, Sylvester Stallone made his debut as a leading character in a scripted series titled “Tulsa King.” Given that many Paramount+ subscribers seemed captivated by it, the show was swiftly renewed for Season 2. After a bit of a wait, eager fans can finally look forward to the premiere of Season 2’s first episode this week.
The Money Game Sept 10 (Prime Video)
As a passionate gamer, I’ve recently discovered an enlightening documentary series called “The Money Game.” It delves into the extraordinary stories of student-athletes, their financial triumphs, and the challenges that often accompany such wealth.
Uglies September 13 (Netflix)
A decade has passed, and it appeared as though every young adult dystopian novel series was being turned into a movie. However, one exception, Scott Westerfield’s “Uglies,” despite the rights being obtained, never materialized on screen. Now, Netflix is bringing this well-loved series about a society where everyone undergoes cosmetic surgery at 16 to enhance their appearance to reality. Joey King serves as both producer and star of the project. If this production proves successful, there are three more books in the “Uglies” series that could potentially follow.
Over the next week, anyone with a Disney+ subscription can look forward to an exciting premiere – that’s right, Agatha All Along makes its debut! And this is only the start of the thrilling content heading your way on streaming services in the upcoming weeks.
