New Stranger Things Season 5 Video Seems To Answer Major Question About Dustin And Other Teens Following Eddie's Death

As a dedicated fan of Stranger Things since its inception, I’ve grown attached to the characters and the intriguing storylines that the Duffer Brothers consistently deliver. The latest behind-the-scenes video from Netflix regarding Season 5 has piqued my interest even further.

The likelihood is slim that “Stranger Things” Season 5 will dominate the 2024 TV lineup, as production on the final episodes, which began in January, is currently only halfway finished. According to a recent behind-the-scenes video released by Netflix, there are still several months of filming left. Surprisingly, the clip may have shed light on the future of the Hellfire Club following Eddie’s apparent demise.

After the catastrophic and devastating finish of “Stranger Things” Season 4, some fans expressed concern (on the edge of anxiety) about the possible dissolution or disappearance of the Hellfire Club, given the doubtful sacrifice of Joe Quinn’s character, Eddie. However, based on recent filming indications, it seems that the club will persist in some capacity when Season 5 unfolds. This assumes that the scene depicted below indeed belongs to the current storyline within the show.

It’s entirely plausible that Dustin wears the Hellfire Club T-shirt out of respect for his late friend and Hawkins’ legendary tough guy. No one else in their group seems to be wearing it, which might suggest that this symbol is no longer popular or accepted among the wider community, at least not as much as it was in Season 4.

Although there may be valid objections to this viewpoint, I remain convinced that Matt and Ross Duffer will carry on with the Hellfire Club in “Stranger Things” Season 5. This could manifest as an ongoing narrative thread where Dustin heads a group of members wearing emblems, or it might serve as a trigger for Hawkins residents and others to irrationally panic about Satanic influences being responsible for the show’s numerous deaths and eerie occurrences.

In the ’80s and ’90s, there were indeed contentious issues that spread through various aspects of society, but none of them had any genuinely supernatural root causes like Vecna wreaking havoc in towns. So it’s a big leap to believe that a group of us D&D-loving nice geeks could be blamed for everything going on. Perhaps we’ll get to coexist without being unfairly labeled as the creators of the monsters.

As a longtime fan of “Stranger Things,” I used to believe that a single image posted on the show’s social media page would be enough to satiate my curiosity. But having been following the series closely for years, I’ve learned that there’s always more than meets the eye with this intriguing production.

In the video above, some new faces join the cast, including Nell Fisher from “Bookworm” and Alex Breaux from “Joe Pickett.” Additionally, we have Jake Connelly, a rising talent, making an appearance. The specific roles each actor will take on have yet to be announced.

As I eagerly anticipate additional sneak peeks into the making of Season 5, I can’t help but remind fellow fans that all four seasons of “Stranger Things” are readily available to stream with a Netflix subscription. Let’s not leave things to chance or wild imaginations; instead, let’s satiate our curiosity and immerse ourselves in the captivating world of Hawkins once more.
