After spending nearly two decades in development limbo, the Masters of the Universe reboot is now seeing substantial advancements. With Nicholas Galitzine set to portray Prince Adam/He-Man and Camila Mendes announced as the fierce Teela back in August, it’s now September, and we’ve learned who will play the villainous Evil-Lyn. This latest casting news has only heightened my curiosity about who will take on the role of Skeletor, He-Man’s archrival and potential boss, in this eagerly anticipated project

Alison Brie has been cast as Evil-Lyn, a character she will portray in the Peacock exclusive thriller series titled “Apples Never Fall.” For those who may not be familiar with Evil-Lyn, she is a witch and Skeletor’s second-in-command. Unlike most of Skeletor’s minions, she is known for being quite intelligent, often devising her own malevolent plans. She has even openly expressed ambitions to seize Skeletor’s power one day and rule Eternia with an iron fist
It’s exciting to note that Alison Brie has landed a role in a major live-action film, “Masters of the Universe,” which was originally with Netflix but is now being produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films. Although I’m eager to see how Brie performs as Evil-Lyn, I find myself even more curious about who will be cast as Skeletor in this reboot. As a fan of “Community,” I can’t help but wonder if co-star Joel McHale might take on that role before they reunite for the upcoming Community movie on Peacock. However, I don’t expect it to become reality. Regardless, I hope the chosen actors share enough chemistry to make Skeletor and Evil-Lyn a formidable duo in this film adaptation
