The couple’s connection to this prestigious event is truly heartwarming and adds an extra layer of meaning to their presence there.
The Summer Olympics 2024, an esteemed sports competition, kicked off in Paris last week. Numerous prominent figures and celebrities graced the opening ceremony on July 26 and have been making appearances at the games since then. Among them is American singer-actor Nick Jonas. He disclosed that his presence at the Olympics is linked to an aspect of his marriage to Priyanka Chopra.

Before embarking on my journey to Paris, I had the pleasure of stopping by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. While there, I disclosed the reason for my attendance at the Olympics. I explained, “I received a call stating that Ralph Lauren was assembling a small team to travel to the Olympics.”
Nick shared that the designer had played significant roles in important milestones of his life, such as his wedding to Priyanka Chopra. He expressed, “He was the one who dressed my wife and me for our wedding; we first met at the Met Gala several years ago, both of us accompanied by Ralph Lauren.”
Nick added that the Olympics were his favorite thing.
While hosting the program, Nick shared an endearing nickname bestowed upon him by his Indian fans – “Jiju.” He elaborated, “Jiju translates to elder brother’s husband, making me the protective and caring elder brother figure to all of India. I must admit, this term of endearment holds a special place in my heart.”

I had a work-filled birthday this year, and I must admit, it’s become one of my preferred ways to celebrate. There’s something truly special about being engrossed in what I love on a film set. I’m grateful for my wonderful husband Nick, who found thoughtful ways to be present despite his physical absence. And let’s not forget the Dosa truck that added an extra delight for our team!
