On Friday, the versatile performer, who is both an actor and a singer, dropped by “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” to talk about his latest movie, “The Good Half.” He also shared exciting updates on his forthcoming Broadway role in “The Last Five Years,” as well as his continuous world tour alongside the Jonas Brothers.
I was set to jet off to Paris for the 2024 Olympics opening ceremony, but instead, I surprised everyone by showing up on Jimmy Fallon’s late-night show. The crowd cheered as Jimmy reminded them that I wasn’t an athlete competing in the games but rather a participant in the Disney Channel Games.
When asked to recall memories from that time, Jonas first mentioned “the abundant hair” before sharing his story.
“For those unfamiliar, the Disney Channel Games were almost like the Olympics, where they gathered around a hundred Disney Channel celebrities from around the globe and had us participate in playful competitions. However, Jonas described it as being ‘more intense than Love Island’.”
“He remarked, ‘We’d let a group of teenagers loose in Disneyland after dark and observe the outcome.'”
The American version of “Love Island,” modeled after the British original, gathers a bunch of individuals at a Fijian retreat turned filming location. Here, they form romantic pairings and participate in activities and contests. However, things get complicated when they’re given the option to switch partners.
