As a seasoned gamer who has seen countless digital worlds come to life, I must say that the real world is really stepping up its game with the Broadway show “All In: Comedy About Love”. With such an impressive lineup of comedic heavyweights like Nick Kroll, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Aidy Bryant, and many others, it’s like being in a dream where I’ve finally leveled up to the ‘Epic Quest’ level of life experiences!
Nick Kroll has joined the cast of the Broadway show All In: Comedy About Love.
Beginning on January 14th and continuing through February 2nd, the co-creator of Big Mouth and a well-known comedian will be joining the revolving cast. During this period, he’ll perform alongside Lin-Manuel Miranda, Aidy Bryant, Andrew Rannells, and Jimmy Fallon. Sam Richardson, who was previously scheduled to be in the cast, has been replaced by this individual.
The play “All In: Comedy About Love” begins featuring John Mulaney from December 11 until January 12, along with other cast members like Fred Armisen, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Richard Kind, and Chloe Fineman. The show is running at the Hudson Theatre until February 16, with its official opening night on December 22.
The production, penned by Simon Rich and helmed by Alex Timbers, presents a comedic collection of tales revolving around topics such as dating, heartache, matrimony, and beyond. These narratives are based on humorous short stories authored by Rich, which were originally published in The New Yorker.
During the performance, the musical duo known as The Bengsons (consisting of Abigail and Shaun Bengson) are set to play tunes from The Magnetic Fields.
Seaview and Lorne Michaels are producing the play with New Yorker Studios.
The creative group comprises David Korins, scenic designer; Jake DeGroot, lighting designer; Jennifer Moeller, costume designer; Peter Hylenski, sound designer; Lucy MacKinnon, projection designer; and Kris Kukul, music director.
