On Friday, it was confirmed by various sources that the residence shared by Nicole Kidman and her spouse, Keith Urban, located in Beverly Hills, was burglarized.
At 8 p.m. on Friday evening, officers were dispatched to Lime Orchard Road due to a burglary call. Upon arrival, they were informed by a security officer that an intruder had broken through the front door’s glass panel, searched the house, and then left.” This statement was shared by a representative of the Los Angeles Police Department with the Los Angeles Times.
Since 2006, Kidman and Urban have been a married couple, and they are blessed with two beautiful daughters named Sunday and Faith. At the time of the recent event, their family residence was unoccupied. The newspaper, Los Angeles Times, reported that it’s uncertain if any belongings were stolen during the incident.
It’s said that the neighborhood where they live in California is known to host celebrities like Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lawrence, Adele, and Katy Perry. As per recent reports by The Los Angeles Times, there have been a series of burglaries occurring in this area. One such incident involved French soccer player Olivier Giroud, who reportedly lost half a million dollars’ worth of possessions earlier this month.
As a gamer, I’ve been following the awards buzz this season, and I must say, Nicole Kidman has been quite busy promoting her intriguing erotic thriller, “Babygirl.” In a recent cover story for THR, she opened up about the film’s profound resonance with her. She expressed that her character embodies a stage where she holds immense power, yet grapples with self-discovery and understanding her true desires.
In her words, “My character is at a point where she has it all, but she’s unsure of who she is, what she wants, and what she truly desires. And I believe many women can relate to this – ‘I’ve accomplished so much, I have children, a husband, and yet, I wonder, who am I? What do I want? What are my true desires? Do I need to put on a mask for people to love me?'”
She further added that the film serves as a liberating experience. However, some viewers have found it unsettling, which she humbly apologizes for, saying, “I’ve had a few people tell me it’s the most disturbing film they’ve ever seen, to which I reply, ‘Oh dear, I’m truly sorry.’
Additionally, she mentioned that Urban often refers to her as “Babygirl,” yet she maintains this term holds no connection: “Babygirl is a term that Keith has always used for me. It’s isolated; it doesn’t relate. That part remains private and isn’t open to public scrutiny.
