Nicole Kidman, along with a fresh set of individuals, embark on a journey to yet another health retreat in search of recovery.
The second installment of the series ‘Nine Perfect Strangers‘ is all set to debut on Hulu, and a few sneak peek photos reveal the scenic location for this season: the enchanting Austrian Alps village named Zauberwald.
A diverse group of nine individuals who have never met before are unexpectedly invited by enigmatic guru Masha Dmitrichenko (played by Kidman) for a life-changing wellness retreat nestled within the majestic Austrian Alps. Over the span of seven days, Masha pushes them to their limits. Will they succeed? Will she? Masha is ready to explore unconventional methods in her quest to heal everyone involved, herself included.
This season, we have several fresh faces joining the cast: Henry Golding, Lena Olin, Annie Murphy, Christine Baranski, Lucas Englander, King Princess, Murray Bartlett, Dolly de Leon, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Mark Strong, and Aras Aydin.
The television series “Nine Perfect Strangers” is adapted from the same novel as the one written by Liane Moriarty. In its debut season last year, it featured actresses like Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, and Michael Shannon, along with Samara Weaving, among others.
In 2022, according to The Hollywood Reporter, there were plans underway for a second season because the show had been put forward for consideration in the continuing drama category rather than the anthology or miniseries categories at the Emmys.
David E. Kelley, Nicole Kidman, Per Saari, Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, Molly Allen, Jonathan Levine, Rachel Shukert, Liane Moriarty, Matthew Tinker, Anthony Byrne and JH Butterworth are the show’s main producers.
Season two starts streaming on Hulu from May 21st, launching with a double episode. Fresh episodes will be released each week thereafter.
