This awards season has celebrities really going all out with their red carpet fashion choices, making each event feel like a non-stop parade of show-stopping looks. It seems like there’s always someone stealing the limelight, and Nicole Kidman is no exception. Take her recent ensemble for Time Magazine’s Women of the Year celebration, for instance – it was simply stunning! And speaking of stunning, she appears to be reviving some of the Barbiecore charm from 2023.
Approximately two years ago, the release of the Barbie movie sparked a wave of pink at premieres. It wasn’t just Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling; it seemed as though every rising actress and seasoned legend was sporting pink, showing affection for the girlish, playful color that surprisingly suits many people well.
This awards season has seen more of a trend of muted colors, with blacks, whites, and beige being all the rage. Kidman, on the other hand, who is a fashion icon in her own right, recently combined the two trends, as she stepped out in a stunning custom baby pink Chloé gown. I’m truly captivated by this style. It seems to blend two popular tendencies flawlessly, making it an ideal fit not only for the occasion, but also for Nicole Kidman’s most recognized role this year in the film “Babygirl”.
The light, ruffled lace skirt paired with the petite bodice exudes a youthful charm. The style seems to draw some inspiration from old-fashioned undergarments and slip dresses, adding a hint of allure. Her stunning complexion and relaxed blonde locks complete the ensemble, giving it an otherworldly feel. Kidman accessorized with timeless Christian Louboutin heels and adorned herself with La Marquise Jewellery.
Among all of Nicole Kidman’s stunning looks during the recent awards season, I find myself still captivated by her exquisite silver backless Balenciaga gown at the 2025 Golden Globes, which left me absolutely spellbound. Additionally, the unconventional yet chic metal corset dress she wore to the Palm Springs International Film Festival by Loewe was truly one-of-a-kind, and it’s impressive that Kidman managed to carry off such a bold fashion statement with grace.
In my opinion, this pink style is simply extraordinary. The playful design paired with such a vibrant hue truly stands out, and it exudes an effortless elegance that reminds me of the iconic character from Moulin Rouge.
Fashion fads change constantly; one moment see-through lace might be popular, the next it could be Brat lime green or bright pink influenced by a big Hollywood movie. Yet, true style lies in recognizing trends while adding your personal touch to your wardrobe. Nicole Kidman has been doing this for years, and her recent pink Chloé ensemble is no exception. Her knack for blending the contemporary with the timeless is what makes her style enduring, and it’s why she always looks stunning.
