As a gamer with a deep-rooted passion for sneaker culture, I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for the latest drops from Nike’s SNKRS showcase. Last year’s event was a game-changer, revealing over 30 releases for the 2024 season, and one of the most intriguing pair that caught my attention was the ACG Izy.

As a dedicated gamer and avid sneakerhead, last October left me excited as Nike’s SNKRS hosted its inaugural showcase, unveiling over 30 anticipated releases for the 2024 season. Among the revealed treasures were the comeback of ACG silhouettes, SB Dunk Lows, Clogposite colorways, and vintage designs. Intriguingly, a sneak peek of Nike’s All Conditions Gear (ACG) collection featured the enigmatic ACG Izy. Now, the wait is over, and the Nike ACG Izy has graced our presence with its official images, making it an ideal addition to my holiday wishlist.

As a fan of the ACG Izy moccasin, I’m drawn to its “Black/Limestone” colorway that embodies the essence of gorpcore style with a comfortable and cozy feel. The shoe boasts a two-toned rubber sole unit that is thick and sneaker-like, while the upper showcases a moccasin-boot hybrid design made entirely of suede. For an added contrast, there’s a zipper closure and stitching details. Additionally, the upper comes equipped with a heel pull tab and a lateral ACG tag, both in matching hues.

In keeping with Nike ACG’s tradition of designing shoes for challenging terrains and optimal performance, this footwear offers waterproof protection and is equipped with a robust sole unit akin to the ACG Rufus model.
