Regardless of your opinion on Fortnite’s current season, it’s clear that an exciting future lies ahead. Initially, the idea of a Mad Max-inspired post-apocalyptic landscape where weapons were replaced by high-speed pursuits was intriguing. However, the allure quickly faded under a haze of overpowered vehicles, Pirates of the Caribbean collaborations, and those troublesome Magneto Gloves.

Critics and players alike have expressed concerns that Fortnite is losing its direction in Chapter 5, Season 3. However, this season didn’t exactly silence the critics who thought it was sluggish, with some even suggesting it should be discarded like an old car part after Epic accelerated things. Yet, labeling it as Fortnite’s ‘worst’ season might be a bit of an overstatement.
