As a movie enthusiast, I can’t help but acknowledge that Noah Centineo’s portrayal of Peter Kavinsky marked the start of his ascension to stardom and cemented him as Netflix’s beloved teen idol. His reign continued in the 2018 comedy-drama film “Sierra Burgess Is a Loser” and, a year later, in the romantic comedy “The Perfect Date.”

However, Centineo moved on from his teen roles after that and delved into more mature characters in films like “Black Adam” or the action series “The Recruit.” Yet, we’ll see a return of his “To All the Boys” character, but with a twist.

Contrary to expectations and the fact that the final film from the “To All the Boys” series, “To All the Boys: Always and Forever,” was released as far back as 2021, the actor who portrayed Peter Kavinsky is coming back into the “To All the Boys” world. The saying “never say never” applies here because, although the romantic comedies following Lana Condor’s LJ on her love journey were supposed to have concluded for good, Netflix has given us a spinoff in 2023 titled “To All the Boys.

The acclaimed Netflix series XO, Kitty revolves around the love life of Kitty, LJ’s younger sister, and may surprise viewers with major plot twists when Season 2 premieres on January 16. A notable development is that Noah Centineo’s character, Peter Kavinsky, will journey to South Korea to visit the Korean International School of Seoul, where Kitty studies.

Last year, the first season of “The Recruit” debuted, introducing us to CIA lawyer Owen Hendricks, a rookie who finds himself caught up in a perilous political affair that takes him from Los Angeles and Quebec to Vienna. This globetrotting action series, which has received an impressive 84% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, remains relatively underrated despite its quality.
