The Netflix show will have its second-season premiere on Oct. 23, 2025.
On Sunday, the executive producers and actors from the show officially announced it during their live appearance at the Netflix FYSEE L.A. Emmy Event honoring Season 1.
Present at the event were Erin Foster (series creator), Sara Foster (executive producer), Kristen Bell (executive producer and star), along with actors Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Tohn.
At the Academy Museum in Los Angeles, an event occurred that showcased a screening of the first episode from Season 1, followed by a real-time recording for the podcast “The World’s First Podcast,” hosted by Erin and Sara Foster.

In this production, Bell and Brody play the roles of a skeptical podcast presenter and an offbeat clergyman, each one of them. As their feelings for each other blossom, they attempt to navigate a romantic relationship, only to encounter hurdles on their journey. Among these challenges are family members from both parties who pose difficulties.
For the upcoming Season 2, Bell, Brody, Lupe, Simons, and Tohn will be reprising their roles, alongside Stephanie Faracy, Michael Hitchcock, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Emily Arlook, Sherry Cola, and Shiloh Berman.
Actors such as Leighton Meester, who is the real-life spouse of Brody, Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky, and Arian Moayed are set to make appearances in Season 2.

Oly Obst serves as executive producer for 3arts. Kaplan and Konner are the showrunners, overseeing the series production, which is handled by 20th Television.
